 eyes shut tight Wednesday, 02 July, 2008 I am really so very happy that it's Wednesday. I'm falling asleep in my chair. I was supposed to have a workout with a personal trainer tonight, but somehow my appointment was left off the schedule. So, I managed a quick workout, and then home to relax. I don't have to be back at work for 4 days and I've been trying to figure out what I'm going to do with my time off. I think a canoe trip down the Clinch River, or a trip to the museum for the Anvil throw. Maybe a very early photo shoot by the river. I'd better be getting to bed. The weather is beautiful, so tonight I've been sitting outside listening to the crickets and watching the stars. My eyes are heavy, and I'm exhausted. I have decided that I really like this K1000. I like getting something 'new' and making the test rolls. It usually gives me about 10 mins of instant satisfaction, snapping at everything. I have a bunch of film from month's gone by to process, but the test rolls always take the priority. fun! HJey, I could develop the other film while I'm off work this weekend. That would be a great thing to do. Anyway, I'm glad that I am having fun with a camera I paid $30 for, and not the new D700 which you can now pre-order for a mere $3000. In one word- HUH?? How many zeros are in that figure? (my soapbox is too high to reach tonight- maybe some other night when my eyelids don't need propping). The 4th of July is coming. A friend emailed me today to remind me of good times gone by. In one word his email said- 'Weeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!' Isn't that what everyone says when they watch fireworks? I love you man.
