Spring is in full swing around here. Flowering trees, leafing trees, tulips, daffs, and the warm spring showers go along with it all. I welcome the rain. After a season of drought last year, this spring rain has me rather pumped. It's too wet to get into my gardens though. So, all I can do is really just sit and relax about the whole thing. I have a lot of digging to do if I can get one weekend of dry.

There's an awful lot of ball playing going on. We are nearly on the edge of the summit of basketball, and the season already smells like baseball. My house is a revolving door of sports mania.

I have to tell you all what I did last night. Last night I got my albums out. I changed the needle on my record player and I put on my Quiet Riot LP and turned it up. I don't think I have to really go into the details of the beauty of the whole thing. It was something of liberation somehow. I've been so tied up in knots. I've been more conscious lately about my attitude lately, and I've noticed that I'm really grumpy if I don't let my head bang around a bit. Seriously. How much fun is a bit of head banging? So, I was about to throw on my old Loverboy LP and decided that it could not follow up Quiet Riot. Can't help but to think of the past member no longer, but then, I can't control all that.

So, I'm saying to go out and play some ball, smell the flowers if you have any, listen to some old LPs and just chill.
