 Spring was Here Monday, 20 March, 2006 Well, at least I thought spring was here. But, I think I saw some frozen rain hitting my windshield on the way in to work this morning, and I swear it's colder today than it was in December. brrrrrrr....... Just a totally crappy way to bring in a season. This little diddy is for Becky. It's the shot I posted two posts ago, only I dug a reject copy out of the trash and set about trying to watercolor it. The paper is very thin, so watercolor didn't work very well, so I color penciled it. You can see where the color has bled around a bit- that's from the water. My sister gave me a set of watercolor pencils when I was in high school. I think I did a pair of fruit pictures for my mom's kitchen and then decided that color was complicated. Thanks, Becky, for trying to spark my inner creativity. I think this is pretty close to actual print size.
